Hey there, dear reader,
          Sorry for you all for being MIA the past months. I had some life challenges and with everything that’s still going on I cant seem to find motivation and lacking inspiration when it comes to writing the new story. It might also be that I started it too early after finishing Avery’s story which was so close to my heart. 
          Hope you all are doing okay and are safe. 
          I hope to return and continue California rain in the future but for now I have put it on hold.

Hey there,
          I thought I’d share some funfacts about Avery’s story with those who are following me; just a little insight how different the story could have gone and almost went many times. 
          
          1. The first chapter was written with the name “Nora” as the main character but this name just didn’t vibe with how I imagined the character’s personality and look so I changed it the last minute by googling “girl baby names” and starting at tha “A”s Avery was the first I came across and liked.
          
          2. Avery was supposed to have a brother (you can catch a reference to him in one of the chapters). But as her character developed, I ditched the brother idea as it did not fit.
          
          3. Jared was never supposed to fall this hard for Avery and one chapter was also written about him cheating and a potential breakup.
          
          4. When introducing Sky, she was supposed to be Jared’s daughter from when Jared went out with her Mom who later got together with Dan, his best friend, who agreed to raise her. Later on I decided I had enough happenings, I dont need another one. 
          
          5. Shannon was supposed to get together with Lily but I ditched the idea, otherwise the story would never have ended :D
          
          +1. There were different endings in my head, and one of them, which was very close to win was one where Avery dies because of complications during childbirth, but that would have only fed my dark soul and noone needs that in 2020 :D  and I also love Avery too much. But that would have been a great open ending for a next book where Jared raises the kid, but also that’s a project I wasn’t sure I can complete.
