Hello there! My name - well, my standard online nickname, at least! - is Zarator. In real life, I'm an Italian, almost 29-year-old PhD in Political Philosophy, with an interest both in movies and in novels (mostly contemporary fantasy, but also lots of classics). On the internet, I'm what you might call a "weeb", with over 200 watched anime and an updated profile on MyAnimeList.net.

As far as stories go, I don't have a specific genre I favor above all others. Among my favourites I count works from speculative fiction, mystery, thrillers, romances and much more. What I do care about the most is not what genre do stories fall in, but what message/theme they explore. In other words, I like stories which want to do something more than just "telling a story". Be it an attempt to deconstruct a common character archetype, or to take advantage of a speculative setting in order to explore major issues from the real world, I crave for stories that seek to stand above all others - that seek to tell me something unique and thought-provoking.
