Heya,
I want to take a moment to elaborate on why I never continued to update Sword Art Online: Faithful Hymn, as I don't feel like I've ever thoroughly explained this reason.
This mostly has to do with the fact that I despise with what I wrote down for the most part. What I initially started was so inspiring to me that this is what kept pushing me forward to continue writing the story. However I eventually lost sight of where I wanted the story to head to, so that's why the story diverged in such a strange way compared to where it was first heading to.
Truth to be told, I never wrote down a plan or a script for myself for this story. Right after I finished writing a chapter, I decided where I wanted the story to hear towards from that point on. And for some reason I thought it was a good idea mid-way to change this story into a harem story rather than a well thought, full fledged original piece of work. This is why I never continued writing, plus continuing the story whilst knowing what I wrote down ages ago doesn't sit well with me.
This also is the reason Alicization Legacy never continued. It's a sequel to Faithful Hymn.
Meanwhile I'm working on a complete overhaul of Faithful Hymn, with improved storytelling, narrative, characters and artwork. But I'm not able to give a release date or anything of the sorts.
