I’m trying to find a Wattpad story I read years ago. It’s about a cold-hearted Alpha who rules his pack with strict punishments like whipping. The female lead is a witch who ends up becoming his Luna. At one point, she frees the prisoners and takes the punishment herself to show him the cruelty of his ways. I remember that the Moon Goddess breaks their mate bond in the end, and the Alpha regrets everything so much that he rewrites the laws in his own blood.
The story starts with a council meeting about a war, where she, a wizard, appears and that’s when the Alpha realizes she’s his mate.
Do you know the name of this book or the author? Would really appreciate any help!

@sakshi1233 My Bodyguard or Mr. Bodyguard?, I don't remember a "My bodyguard". Mr. Bodyguard is one of my favs: age gap, non-virgin guy but very very loyal and whipped. Her professor- wait, I can't remember. Lazarus- haven't read, I thought I removed this in my library and lists 'cause someone told me before that he kissed someone else, but he was under some sort of spell (not sure. if this is the vampire book, then that's it)

So I remember recommending Insomniacs to you and as much as I love it, it is NOT a safe read as I've come to know from my current reread :( I can somehow push past it cause it's a masterpiece of a story even if I don't relate to the culture very much, but it might not be your cup of tea. Just thought I'd let you know in case it's been on your tbr xx

@ZeiSFour I'm reading Psychopath rn and it kinda seems safe, I'm getting the feeling he's been bed hopping a bunch but nothing on page. And he seems very lust driven but eh. It should be safe though, I got confirmation from a friend :)) No idea about the third book though, I have my suspicions that might have a sad ending
