i'm working on a short original right now.
          
          i'm almost done with this first rough draft, and after extensive editing, i want to start posting in september...(?)
          
          i'll keep y'all posted. but i'm actually gonna finish something omg! it's almost done!
          
          it doesn't seem like much, but a whole 20,000 words of my own world and characters... that's craziness.

          additionally, lol. it was so weird. one of my friends is doing music professionally, and we were shooting a promo video for his new album that's dropping this fall, and it was so cool. i also thought it was kinda dope of him to want some of his friends in his promo.

          blame my school; things have gotten crazier. i have a song that's sort of half written, and i don't want to frankenstein it so i'm trying to let it flow when i have the free time ;-;
          
          i'm aiming to have it out in a week or two ajkdfhgkajdgkjahdfg. if i keep on procrastinating, nothing will ever be done, lol

          tbh, it sounds like it couldn't decide whether or not it was a single's empowerment kinda song or a crushy girl kinda song. but i kind of. vibe it.

sooooooooo i posted a new song ("over my dead body"); it's something that i wrote a month ago (verses and chorus), but something was just really missing. i completed it today and did my best to record, with my wreck of a setup, lol.
          
          it's actually for one of my best friends who's been really hooked on nicotine. it's been a major cause of stress, especially seeing someone i care about terribly addicted to something so harmful.
          
          the other song i posted is about sexual assault. ("his eyes held stars")
          
          if you give it a listen, thank you. both those topics are either overlooked completely or glamorized so i appreciate anyone who does listen. i guess i've never been one to talk just straight romance. there's always gotta be the reality attached to it.

so i have two chapter drafts sitting in my unpublished works, and i'm dying to post them, but i don't want to chicken out and take them down months later like the last three attempts at original work i've made.
          
          like, i'm just not confident in my work. or inspired enough to continue them. and i don't know why, especially when this is what i want to do for my life.
