@TerryP hi
          	I am usually a silent reader, too shy to voice out my own comments...

          	You have a great talent for writing and I enjoyed reading Tamar's story very much....

          	What happened to Tamar was very tragic. She was not allowed to marry the love of her life and her own brother took her innocence. But I guess those made her stronger and when Jesse could finally marry her, it made it all the more sweeter...

          	I'm a sucker for romance and happy endings, thank you for giving Tamar her happy ending....

@Zelamorcullo Hey, thanks. That makes my day.

          	  Rather than ask you to comment on my story, could you copy and paste your lovely message above at the end of my story?

          	  Songs for Tamar takes few liberties with the Bible story.

          	  Absalom indeed was ambitious, rebellious, and conniving. For certain, he loved Tamar dearly.

          	  The revenge on Amnon happened in a different way but was indeed at the sheep shearing.

          	  During Israel's civil war, Absalom was brutal.

          	  David's warriors were fewer, but many who had ridden with David were experienced in lightning fast attacks.

          	  These men could have very well have delayed Absalom's larger army.

          	  Sure enough, Absalom was caught by the hair, and Joab killed him.

          	  I'm so pleased that you enjoyed my story.
