Last night, just as I was about to drift off to sleep, I heard a clear sound of feet shuffling into slippers. I assumed it was just my grandpa about to go on his usual night trip to the bathroom. Take note, I was sleeping on the floor last night. So I had a clear view of what's going on under the bed. When I heard that shuffling sound, I looked under the bed expecting to see his feet but my grandpa hadn't slipped his feet into his slippers.Instead I just saw a vast amount of darkness.Even though I  squinted my eyes, I couldn't  see anything. Thinking I misheard it, I closed my eyes and pulled the blanket over my head. I am very afraid of unexplainable sounds at night. But once more I heard it, more clearer. This time I saw a shadow looming in that vast darkness. It had the shape of a crooked woman! I challenged it in my head."Well go on then. Show yourself and make that sound again." But this time  I heard nothing. The shadow still remained though. Feeling terrified,  I closed my eyes and went off to sleep. I still feel chills typing this now. I really don't believe in ghosts but does someone have any explanation to shuffling sounds at night? I need it soon please! ASAP 
          	P.s- Did anyone have ghostly encounters before?

@MarwaSamad Its  fine,  But the sounds felt ridiculous.  They came out of nowhere. Mind plays tricks at times
