Another short story since I may be getting a pet, also cause I cried today lol
'Please don't go!' Tears stained her ivory skin as she scrambled to stop him. He was all she had left, she lost her friends and what limited family she had: she couldn't lose him to. She clutched his hand tightly while he tried to tug away from her, however faltering when he heard her choked sobs.
'Please, please don't leave me to...' Her arms shook violently and her throat was immensly dry from all the crying she did prior. Her whole body felt weak, numb even as her heart felt like it was being ripped into two once more. The weak plaster that was put over it, falling off with absolute ease. She was hurting, more than she ever hurt before.
He didn't know that he had such an effect on her. But here she was, on her knees begging him not to leave like everyone else did. 'I'm the bad guy fine, just... Please don't leave me to...' She pleaded weakly, her hair covering her face and protecting what little dignity she had left. Though she didn't care, she had already lost so much. Her eyes ached as more tears seemed to escape, her lip quivering as he stayed frozen in place. Her hand held his limply, her whole body going limp from the fatigue and the cold. He looked down at the female, watching as her pitiful state continued to shake from both despair and the cold.
She was weak. She couldn't take it anymore.
His lips pursed before he let out a strained sigh, snaking his arms around her form and hoisting her up with ease. Her shirt was much larger on her form than it used to be, her bones frail and her limbs more lanky from lack of eating. Though she didn't seem to care about her malnourished form, she lost so much already. What would a bit of weight do to her?
'Let's get you home...' He whispered softly into her ear, his lips tugged into a frown. No matter how hard he tried, he could never abandon her. Even if the world told him to, she wasn't a villian: simply broken.
