Zero's Pride

Wrote this little piece of flash fiction for a Twitter Comp-
          They came from the great darkness. Out of pity, they conquered us; to preserve, they confined us; and to understand they observe us.

I surprised myself with this story. I wanted to develop with as much complexity and depth as our own, and I succeeded. There's fantasy, romance, tragedy, comedy, all wrapped into one chapter.
