Surprise. It’s me after 3 years of silence. (This is my third attempt to write this since the character limits is a bitch)
I’m still around. But I think it’s time to make it official. I don’t plan to finish up “HighSchool DxD: Free”. I just don’t have that same drive and passion as I used to, and frankly, I just can’t keep up with my own growing standards I had for that story. That and I have my own career and life that takes up my time nowadays. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this was always one of may side hobbies I’ve dabbled during my limited free time.
So. As a small thank you to everyone that has given me the time to read that story. Later this week, I plan to release all the unfinished chapters I had written out along with some editorials to help give some context to the segments, and along with that, some of the unfinished banner artwork i had made for some arcs I couldn’t get too.
I’m glad I’ve been able to create something that people liked. That’s something that I couldn’t have ever expected at the time to be able to impress and entertain people, and I’m glad I can at least say it was a journey. A messy one but it was a journey nonetheless.
I’ll still be around. But mostly lurking to see what’s new or to see the progress of new stories being made. Still, thank you all for reading what I’ve made. I never expected so many people to like what I’ve created to what I still think was an okay story with so many holes, ain’t that a bitch.
Nonetheless, Cheers!

@ExtremeWP womp womp. Real talk. It’s just how it is. This writing stuff was always a side hobby that I dabbled from time to time that I ended up taking more seriously than I originally wanted which lead to a lot of cases of burn out and just straight up having way to many high expectations of my own quality which lead to those 3 years of stagnation. Granted it’s also because I don’t have as much free time as I used to when I first started writing since I was a student at the time and now I had a slowly growing career that has most of my time and focus.

@ZuitheRedfox Thanks man. It’s also a shame to see that you’re also kinda in the same spot as me with the semi burn out and just life getting in the way of things. Your works were also fun to read when I had the chance to read them. I won’t deny though, back then even I was kinda driven by spite a bit at the time with the low quality of works. There were of course a few gems out there but I wanted to help just push to see a change to have more unique stories and narratives.
