Surprise. It’s me after 3 years of silence. (This is my third attempt to write this since the character limits is a bitch)
          	
          	I’m still around. But I think it’s time to make it official. I don’t plan to finish up “HighSchool DxD: Free”. I just don’t have that same drive and passion as I used to, and frankly, I just can’t keep up with my own growing standards I had for that story. That and I have my own career and life that takes up my time nowadays. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this was always one of may side hobbies I’ve dabbled during my limited free time.
          	
          	So. As a small thank you to everyone that has given me the time to read that story. Later this week, I plan to release all the unfinished chapters I had written out along with some editorials to help give some context to the segments, and along with that, some of the unfinished banner artwork i had made for some arcs I couldn’t get too.
          	
          	I’m glad I’ve been able to create something that people liked. That’s something that I couldn’t have ever expected at the time to be able to impress and entertain people, and I’m glad I can at least say it was a journey. A messy one but it was a journey nonetheless. 
          	
          	I’ll still be around. But mostly lurking to see what’s new or to see the progress of new stories being made. Still, thank you all for reading what I’ve made. I never expected so many people to like what I’ve created to what I still think was an okay story with so many holes, ain’t that a bitch.

          	  Real talk. It’s just how it is. This writing stuff was always a side hobby that I dabbled from time to time that I ended up taking more seriously than I originally wanted which lead to a lot of cases of burn out and just straight up having way to many high expectations of my own quality which lead to those 3 years of stagnation. Granted it’s also because I don’t have as much free time as I used to when I first started writing since I was a student at the time and now I had a slowly growing career that has most of my time and focus.

@ZuitheRedfox Thanks man. It’s also a shame to see that you’re also kinda in the same spot as me with the semi burn out and just life getting in the way of things. Your works were also fun to read when I had the chance to read them.
          	  
          	  I won’t deny though, back then even I was kinda driven by spite a bit at the time with the low quality of works. There were of course a few gems out there but I wanted to help just push to see a change to have more unique stories and narratives.

Are you gonna finish the highschool dxd silver crow cause I’m really enjoying the story and really hoping to see what’s gonna happen next will YN get his humanity back and move back to America or be a slave to the devils and keep letting the devils and fallen angels walk all over him and if you do continue the story please keep the Mc evil and more of a jackass

Like I’ve said as previous replies to me, I do still write, but it’s not often, my job keeps me busy and writing is only one of many side hobbies I indulge in if it strikes my fancy for a moment.
            
            Main reason why I haven’t updated it is because I want to release each arc as a full package rather than having them spaced out for several months. It’s just not ready and I don’t want there to be a 3 month gap between each chapter.
            
            As for story related things, the MC isn’t evil, never was. I’m not gonna spoil it for obvious reasons but none of the characters “walk over him”. It’s just circumstance. One of the main themes of the story is freedom and survival.

I’m still around, but I don’t have much free time to write as much as I used to. I have a career and writing here has always been a side hobby. 
            
            But the one of the main reasons why I haven’t wrote anything for a long time is that I want to release everything at once when it’s ready. I rather not space out a chapter release once every few months with my already cluttered schedule.

@DDarwinWP There just programs I’m most familiar with and have experience with outside of writing. If you gonna make thumbnails of your own, use programs your familiar with and if you have the patience and confidence to branch out, you can try out other ones like photoshop and all that.

I plan to finish it, but as of now, I don’t have much time on my hands considering I have an actual career. Writing is just a side hobby so it doesn’t always have my full attention. But the biggest reason is because I plan to release the next full arc all at once rather than individual chapters.

I’ve been radio silent for a while and I wanted to give the chance to give a small update on what’s going on my end.
          
          Ever since January 13th, I’ve been extremely preoccupied due to landing what is practically a dream job for me and it’s been busy since due to both work and moving. I don’t get that much free time to write and when I do it’s not frequent enough since the free time I do get has been spent more to relax when I’m out of work or to enjoy other hobbies. 
          
          The progress I do have is about 70% done on the first chapter of the new DxD Free Arc and semi fleshed out outlines for the rest of the chapters. And even if I do finish the first chapter of the next arc, I don’t want to release it till other chapters are ready to go with it. I just don’t want to make it feel like such a long absence of waiting for a chapter what could be seen as something minuscule to the overarching plot. I rather be ready to go than feel like I need to rush out a finale like I have done in the past.
          
          I do have some shorts in the works since I get random bursts of inspiration but progress on this aren’t as good. Just simple enough things that I though would be interesting but lose just as much motivation to write those the same week I come up with them.
