Hello! A short post today, but that just means I'll post again either tonight or tomorrow. I'm actually writing the beginning of the climax for the next book, and am exited. An exited writer writes like a fiend!
          Anyway, not much happens in this chapter, sorry, but now that Claudius and Amy have met things will start heating up really quick.

Well, that was intense! I wrote a ton yesterday. I mentioned before that I had a bit of writers block and when I get out of it I normally do so explosively. I think I wrote nearly four thousand words yesterday, which allowed me to make two posts yesterday, and one post today.
          With the completion of the third chapter we have now met all seven main characters of the story and most of the major characters. There are still a few more people to meet, but we don't have to worry about them until later in the story. Mostly I'm exited about chapter 4, which is now live. This chapter is the true beginning of the story, where everything starts coming together and flying apart at the same time. I won't spoil what happens, just read it and see for yourself!

First things first; I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, especially since my last post was only half a chapter, but I was having trouble getting the word count up between making the new cover and having a (minor) case of writers block.
          But here it is! The second part of the third chapter is now LIVE! In it we get to meet Olive Coarsehille, the sixth main character and daughter of a merchant and sea captain. Olive is actually my favorite character to write, she is so much fun! For some reason her bloodthirsty and ambitious nature makes her very easy to write, which is weird because I am neither bloodthirsty or ambitious. Anyway, the only trouble with writing Olive is that I don't know much about ships so I have to do a ton of research whenever she's playing a part in the story.
          This just leaves one main character left to meet! Look forward to that. 
          Actually I looked ahead and saw the next post will be really short, so I think I'll just post it tomorrow. So check in again later to meet Roger the Wanderer. (He's never actually called that in the story, that's just how I see him.) Happy Reading everyone!

NEW COVER! So I know most people probably buy their covers from...some one. Some really talented artist, but I'm sort of cheap so I just made my own! What do you think? It took me hours to make, and I'm really proud of it. Hopefully it attracts others to read my story.

I don't know how, but somehow I managed to write over 6,000 words in three days. I did sort of cheat though, or maybe I should say they didn't count? What I mean is I had to edit major portions of the later story these last three days because it was turning into a mess and I had to fix it by deleting large sections and rewriting them.
          But that's not important now. The first part of chapter three is now out! This is the first chapter in the story that has a POV change in the middle of the chapter. I use these changes for several reasons. A POV change could mean that the events are related, could be happening simultaneously, or happening consecutively. Since this story is across multiple countries and does use a rough idea of 'time zones' as a device it can be kind of difficult to determine when something happens in the story in relation to something else. In this case the events of part 1 happen at the same time as the events of part 2, or at the very least on the same day. Expect the next part to be coming soon, hope you enjoy, and Happy Reading!

In honor of my first follower (YAY) I decided to post the next chapter early. Its about as long as the chapter I posted yesterday, which means I'll have to work twice as hard to catch up on my word count (I'm now six thousand words behind instead of the four thousand I was at yesterday...but I also wrote two thousand words yesterday.)
