Blue's motivation for helping Ripper is discussed between them in Chapter: The Interlopers. After a vicious battle with an Ingen asset recovery squad, Ripper asks her why she saved him, Blue informs Ripper about the events of Jurassic World and the death of her sisters. Blue then expresses that she feels immense guilt and blames herself for their deaths. Upon finishing the story Blue breaks down and cries as she explains that she made a promise to them that she would be a better person and leader.
This is in combination with how Owen had shown forgiveness to her after she sided with the Indominus Rex was a key part in her showing mercy to Ripper after he was defeated and severely injuried
