A QUICK PSA ABOUT THOSE “COMIC ADAPTATION” COMMENTS
Okay, y’all I’ve been getting comments on some of my works from people claiming they want to turn my stories into comics/webtoons.
First of all: PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THEM.
I’m aware that these are most likely scams, especially when the account randomly comments on a FANFICTION and immediately asks me to contact them through Telegram, WhatsApp, email, or some other platform.
I also want to make this VERY clear:
My fanfictions are FANFICTIONS. The characters and original franchises belong to their respective owners. I do not own those characters or the original works, and I am NOT giving random people permission to adapt, sell, publish, or otherwise use my fanfiction.
So if you see one of those comments under my stories, or your own stories, don't click anything, don't contact them, and don't give them your information. Just report/block the account if necessary.
And to the actual readers who have been suggesting comic adaptations because you genuinely enjoy my stories I LOVE YOU That's honestly such a huge compliment.
But if some random account comes sliding into my comments like
"Dear author, we are interested in adapting your novel into a comic..."
BABE. I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE.
