New book alert

I’m sure you’ve heard of the Open Novella Contest. I’ve decided to participate this year, and my book is called Night at Ocean Brew: contemporary, coffee shop, cosy vibes, new adult, coastal town

The last time I posted books was 2024, my contemporary romance ‘Talk of The Town’ and my horror book ‘Three Knocks.’ I am grateful to everyone who has read it, unfortunately there weren’t many of you. It was a bit depressing for me to see almost no comments and barely any votes.

I really struggled to write again, and last year I participated in the ‘What In The Wattpad’ Contest, which was just 1 chapter.

Slowly, I’m trying to get back into writing. I also got diagnosed with PCOS, and two symptoms include ‘brain fog’ and ‘anxiety,’ which would greatly explain why I can’t focus on my books as much as before.

But I’m not giving up. So, I’m hoping this contest might help me out. In February, we have to write 2000 words, in March, 6000 words, and in April, 12000 words.

Let’s hope I can do this.

Until next time, love you, and thank you for your support.

Hi!

I recently came across your story ”Three Knocks" on Wattpad and I just wanted to say—I absolutely loved it. The characters, the atmosphere, and your writing style really drew me in. ✨

I’d love to ask if you’d be open to me translating your story into Czech . Of course, I’d fully credit you as the original author and include a link to the original story . I would only publish the translation with your permission.

Let me know what you think!

          Have a great day

@verniex Hi, thank you for the kind words, but I do not allow translation of my books.

Hey everyone,

I'm back with a new story for you. It's a horror/thriller called 'Three Knocks.' It's my first attempt at this genre. Please give it a try and let me know what you think. I'll be updating every Monday and Friday. Show some love and happy reading.

          Here's the synopsis:

"I realised the problem was never in the place I stayed. The problem was in me. Wherever I go, I hear the three knocks."

Camille Martin hears it day and night. Therapy and medicines no longer work on her. She has hit rock bottom, losing everything against this unseen misfortune.

Jake Martell has a gift or a curse that his psychotherapist sister refuses to believe. He can see stranded souls. Stumbling on Camille's file, he realises an evil presence she hears but cannot see, is haunting her.

Will he save her on time or will the demons of his past get to him first?
