Hello. It's 3:39am in my time right now, and I'm literally just here to boast about how I finally finished my social studies essay. Like 50% of all my messages here are just about like how much homework sucks. I'm so exhausted, and not because it's late but because that essay took so long. Also, it was due 6 hours ago and I'm gonna get a penalty.... Well, how's school going for you guys (if anyone ends up answering... or goes to school)? I miss talking to people.

My friend got me the first Keeper of the Lost Cities book for my birthday in 4th grade, like 3 or 4 years ago. I haven't read it yet, but I polled a bunch of my friends the other day about which book I should read next out of the many that I have lying around on my shelf, and KotLC won.... People have been telling me to read it for years, both many of my friends, and a surprising people PMing me on ff sites with nothing else to say but "Read KotLC." So umm, I guess I'm late to the party but I'm gonna try this.

@TheNerdified_Kiwi That's cool. I've been doing some of that stuff in lockdown, too, finishing series that I started forever ago and neglected... I still have a few left to go. I'm still in quarantine pretty much, and school's like sorta been going back for a few weeks. I haven't really been into reading anything other than fanfics much since like... wow, 5th grade when I discovered fanfiction after PJO.... But I'm getting back into it I think so yeah. I just finished the first KotLC book a few minutes ago and now I need to decide if I wanna buy the next one or just get it at the library. That was a pretty disconnected unnecessary rant...

I'm going back to school on Wednesday, and I really never thought I'd say this, but I'm sooooo excited. I mean, I'm only gonna be in person for 2 hours a day 2 days a week with 1/8 of my grade and none of my friends, but I just... am tired of getting nothing done 'cause I can't concentrate in class and I can't concentrate on work until the deadline is two hours away. Like for instance, it's 1:10 a.m. right now and here I am working on an essay on Muslim innovations and adaptations 'cause I've been procrastinating since Friday and it's due tomorrow morning.

Wow... it's been exactly a year for me since the first day of quarantine. I really want to go back to school and just talk to people. I feel like I've lost an entire year of my life.

I have finally completed my collection of having an account on every fanfiction website that I can think of; this is something that my 10-year-old-self would have never imagined ever happening…. I'm thinking of uploading my stories to AO3 in a few hours, so... yeah. (Ha, umm, happy birthday to me...)
