I am not okay with how things are. We do not seem to be particularly troubled by not having the faintest idea how to take care of ourselves, each other, the other creatures and the ecosystem that still supports us. This is not good even by itself but when you place it in perspective it gets worse. What's the perspective? We live in a Universe heavily biased towards downfall, breaking up and downright destruction. Just look at how much effort and time it takes to build up a settlement, a relationship or basically anything worth maintenance vs how much effort and time does it take to tear it down? See? This is my theme when I teach and do my research as a scientist, this is theme when I compose and play music, this is my theme in these writings.
