A Reason To Live just hit 10k reads. I know that it's not the biggest story out there, but it's much more than I would've ever expected, so thanks. As promised, a little update. I'm gonna be completely honest, there's no way I'm publishing anything this month. Got a whole paper dumped on me that I have to write up by November. So yeah, once I finish that, I'll get back to it.

Soooo... been a little bit. Okay, maybe a long bit. I really didn't mean to disappear for as long as I did, and I owe an explanation. After I finished writing the SAO story, I took a break from writing for a bit. After a few weeks I began experimenting with new ideas and even drafted up a fair chunk of a completely different story. But before I really got anywhere that I was satisfied with, my laptop up and died on me. That was a few months ago by now, and I only just got a new one two days ago. So, unfortunately, not only did I disappear for a long time, but I haven't been writing anything either. I wish I could come back and say I have a new story ready, but I really don't, and it'll take me a while to get back in the groove of writing and get something new out, especially since I'm the type who's never happy with what I make and obsess over pointless details. If you've lost interest in what I might do in the future, then that's completely fair.

If not, then as a semi-apology I want to ask what you'd prefer to see next: A sequel to the SAO story or something different/new. Since I may as well be starting at a blank slate for either, I really don't have much preference either way, and I'll end up doing both at some point regardless. It'd also make it a lot easier for me to start writing again as I'm a little directionless at the moment from being gone for so long, so if you really do have a preference, don't be afraid to say so. It would genuinely help.

Btw, if I really do stop writing for whatever reason, I will say so. I plan to post an update every now and again just to let you know how things are going. I also made a discord account (same username) so if I end up going silent again for whatever reason, you can check if I'm still alive if you want.

That's about everything I have to say for now. If school doesn't swamp me, I'd really like to make SOMETHING this month, and if not then next month, but I guess I'll see.

@OtisBirdsong @JendaySyntriz I'd definitely be down to do a sequel, since I've had a few ideas floating around in my head for a while now. From what I've seen/read of the next arc, I won't be able to follow it like I did with Alicization, but maybe I'll incorporate a few things here and there. Dunno when I'll finish something I'll be happy enough to post, so I'll try to make updates on progress every now and again.

@Zumishiketo That's good to know, I was wondering where you went. Personally, I wouldn't mind reading a sequel to your SAO book, but if for whatever reason it didn't end up working out, I'd still read a story that wasn't SAO.

@Zumishiketo good to see you’re back and still alive lmao, but on the topic of the story i’d personally like to see a sequel to the sao story i’ll be looking forward to your next story regardless

Dear author,
I want you to know something, your book has impacted me in ways no other book has. I'm at a loss for words, truly. I first found your book on a boring rainy Sunday, I had nothing to do so I just decided, 'What the heck? I'll give this one a shot.' I read it for over 12 hours. All I ever wanted was my favorite chapter overall. The Alicization Arc is honestly underrated. You know, I'm a manga writer currently in training. Still in school though so my Manga won't be ready any time soon. But, the Alicization Arc was the first thing to inspire me to make it, and you've taken that and beautifully rewrote it in such a way that I don't know if I will ever be able to watch it again and enjoy it because reading this is preferable. Not sure if I could handle re-reading this though, I might break down again due to the sadness it made me feel when reading certain parts. I'm rambling on here, so I'll make it quick. You helped inspire multiple chapters, relationships, backstories, and scenes for my manga. You. So hey, if you ever see a manga titled,' Until Dawn's Rise' just know that you helped the success of it. The script is being planned out at the moment and I'm starting the writing soon. So yeah, I wish you the best and hope that you have a fantastic day/life. If your time on Wattpad is over, then this shall be my final message to you. It's not perfect, but I hope it'll do.
                                                          Best wishes,
                                                               Jenday

I feel a similar way even just reflecting on parts of the story in passing has my gut wrenching its truly one of the best works I've read delving so deep into a depressing tone that other stories often don't try building, if you are seeing this author your story is truly impressive and I hope to read another book by you again if you plan on it
