          	As a little gift, I’m excited to share Afterlight, Elio’s story.
          	
          	Honestly, writing this has been even more challenging than The Lies We Rehearsed. I wrote ten chapters, then rewrote them at least four times, not just editing, but full rewrites, because it never quite felt right. I’m still working through them, but I’m thrilled to finally share Elio’s journey with you (also still a little anxious and hoping I do his character justice)~

@sleepdeprivedbitch__ Hi love! I'm so sorry I haven't been updating lately.
            
            I can only write on weekends, and somehow I keep getting sick exactly on weekends  so I haven't been able to write as much as I want. And there's also something else... but I'll tell you about it when I update Afterlight again!

Good morning Author, 
          I just finished reading the first four posted chapters here on Wattpad titled “June, Without you”. In my opinion this Author is writing a very good story that promises to be a really good book once completed. The description from the Author is that this is intended to be a betrayal, grovel, redemption story, and the couple is married. I hope you now see why I am reaching out to you. I remember you indicated that you are a reader as well. Would you be willing to take a look at what is posted? Afterwards, and only if you are willing, please encourage this Author in your own way. I believe that focused feedback and critique are acceptable. However, mean spirited and critical criticism are not. Hoping to encourage them before any critical or personal comments discourage them…
          Thank you for listening to my thoughts. Whether or not you feel led to read this story, you are definitely one of my favorite Authors…period.

            I’ll definitely read "June, Without You" (I think I found the story)! I’d really love to support the author --- it’s never easy putting your story out there, especially knowing what they might face along the way with a cheating-redemption story

@Michellehenri I’m considering publishing it on Amazon, though most likely still in the far future. There are a lot of revisions I’d like to do, and right now I feel a bit too close to the story to edit it properly. But I’ll definitely announce it once it’s published! Thank you so much for loving Iris and Ezra’s story

@PurnimaSharma803 Yes, she did. I know it might seem surprising, honestly, it surprised me too. But after everything that happened across the 42 chapters it just felt like the right ending. At least for me (and I think for some other readers too).
            
            I really appreciate you reading the story, even if the ending wasn’t what you wished for. I hope you can respect that choice. You can check the Author’s Notes if you want more insight on why I went this route, but I won’t be explaining it again. Thank you  :)
