Thank you all for helping Oel Ngati Kameie reach 6,000 reads. It truly means a lot to me that so many people have taken the time to read my books - I genuinely appreciate it.

          	Love you guys!

Living with a chronic illness/pain means you get used to things that most people will never experience. You get accustomed to constant pain, forgetting what it’s like to be pain-free, going through medical procedures and trauma, and needing to take a break after a shower.

People notice you getting by, but they don’t see all the things you’ve had to accept to make that happen.

So today, I ran into someone who basically yelled at me for parking in the disability spot. First off, if you don’t know, I had hip dysplasia, which has led to multiple surgeries, and now I’m dealing with a torn labrum, impingement, and the beginnings of osteoarthritis.

          NOT ALL DISABILITIES ARE VISIBLE!

It’s... it’s tough living with a hidden disability in your 20s. You look young and healthy, but you’re fighting a silent battle that most people just don’t get...

Today, I had hydrotherapy for… you guessed it - my disability, and I was in pain, so I used the disability parking sticker to park in the disability spot at the shops.

I’ve grown up with people doubting me, but it feels like a punch to the gut every single time.

@JayJay465470 | Eventually. I have no idea when I'm going to update fairytale. I am going to update it eventually but my mind set has to focus purely on cobra Kai to be able to write more if that makes sense. Don't worry l haven't forgotten about the book :)
