I have never watched the purest and most honest relationship bond until I watched From Me to You. The relationship between Kazehaya and Sawako is so well written you can see how raw and honest their bond is. The director and actors truly showed how beautiful the connections of the characters is. They transferred a well-written, sincere and beautiful relationship into a well-made show that not many directors have been able to achieve with other stories. I love how the author wrote about the relationship between Kazehaya and Sawako so much that it has honestly impacted me. Also, the side character relationship developments are so raw and natural. A lot of the time, character relationships in shows are very superficial and are only what the author or director wants the audience to see. The majority of popular shows currently that involve a romantic relationship are very surface level and honestly are not deep enough where I can feel a real connection between characters. Maybe it's the actors, or maybe it's just how the characters are written in these shows, but all the relationships in From Me to You seem more realistic; the relationships show the viewer that love is such a challenging concept to understand especially when you're only a teenager. The concept of understanding love is so normalized that we are expected to understand what it is and what it's meant to feel like. However, From Me to You displays that not everyone is particularly knowledgeable in terms of friendships and relationships, but mainly romantic connections. From Me to You shows how someone can grow and change into a better person in their teen years, but it also shows how life is filled with uncertainty and jealousy and how it's normal to feel such negative emotions. From Me to You has truthfully changed my views on friendships and relationships with people, and its shown me the importance of communication. So, if you can, I really really recommend that anyone reading this should watch this show.
