          	There's currently mass spamming and attempts to scam or hack users across the platform, including targeting those who use discord or writers. If you are tagged in one of the weird spammy posts or sent strange dms, DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS OR DM THEM BACK. If your discord becomes compromised, report where necessary and follow the platform's official advice on what to do with the compromised account. Report Wattpad related incidents with as much detail as possible to Wattpad.
          	
          	Our teams are working hard to handle the situation and take down the accounts responsible. Be safe, make sure multi-factor authentication settings are on with platforms where it's available, and remember that official accounts will have Wattpad verification next to their names. Thank you so much for your patience. We KNOW how annoying and frustrating this ordeal is, believe me. We're also being targeted too in some of these spam attacks. Til next time xoxo
