I want to make a book that people want more of, a book where people squeal and joy and cry because of the character's choices. I want to write something that people get attached to. You know what I mean? But all my ideas just seem like they suck and the two books I'm working on are collabs. I just want to know, what elements of a story makes you want more of that story? What makes you attached to a story? What makes you read past the first chapter? What makes you read until the end?

@_GAYLETTUCE_ relatable topics and things that make, not just you happy, but the readers. The things that I know people would get attatched to is people that I know everyone does. Fanfiction. Or make a story where you try to get other people's OGs, and put it in your story, if you know what I mean. (Wattpad Users characters)

@_GAYLETTUCE_ Many people are different in terms of preference, but what really keeps me hooked is the way the story is written rather than the plot points (although those help a lot too). If you write artistically, you know, in a way that flows and sounds magical so the reader can delve into the world you've weaved, then they'll stay there. Try adding poetic elements, or sentences that stick.

@_GAYLETTUCE_ Conflict. There should always be conflict in a story to make it interesting. At least that's what I write :)

So I asked this before, but I forgot to include some of the information: What do I call a book about two gay girls that get haunted by one's dead ex who died in a car crash because they played with a Ouija board? The ex bf wants to destroy their relationship, and he's a poltergeist type of spirit.

@_GAYLETTUCE_ well it depends , is the story mainly about the relation or revenge ?

You could call it: "My Ex Poltergeist"

ANNOUNCEMENT TO EVERYONE WHO'S DOING THE 60 PEOPLE NOVEL:
. . . aaaaaand the writing starts tomorrow!!!
WHOOOOOOOOOPPPP!!!!! I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE AS HYPED UP AS I AM!!!!!!

So here's what we're going to be doing-

"We have a calendar for each month. Please find your name and see if you are available on that date. If you are not available, please notify us immediately and name some dates that are good for you. We will then arrange a date and you will be placed there. Thank you!"

This means every person will be assigned a chapter to write and be given four days to write!

Check out when you write with this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dPLFaD4kSo6V_IjhdRtQY4PnjbIxd44a2TcqAaSfsqU/edit

          Second Announcement:

"We will have a doc with the chapters prepared on it with parts that people have written. Please write your chapter on a separate doc and share it to the hosts and we will copy and paste it onto the main document with chapters."

To make extra precautions, we have decided to have people make their own docs before sharing it to the hosts! The day before you write, we will give you access to the main document, to be able to let you write what happens next in the story!

It's a little like a continuation of the story! You know, that game (Period) where everyone says one sentence to form a story - except this time, it's writing a chapter to form a whole book!!!

Alriiiiiight and that's for today! The hosts, co-hosts, and editors will notify/inbox you a week before it's your time to write! ;) For now, please enjoy your summer!

SIDE NOTE: there WILL be LGBTQ involved, due to a popular vote of the people! But do note that you do not have to write any parts involved with romance!
