Hey everyone! I have started writing a few chapters for “Family First” vol. 2. It’s called “Family Forever” and it will be out very soon. Hope you’re excited :)
I always reread "family first" whenever I have the time because, honestly, the single dad trope is one of my favorites, and you executed it so well!
Anyway, I'm really curious about Jeno's backstory after the divorce. It feels like he went through a pretty dark period in his life. Did he ever go through a "wild phase" or hit rock bottom in some way?
What was he actually like during that time, and what ended up being the turning point that made him decide to get his life back on track?
At first I want to thank you so much for reading! It means a lot that you enjoy it so much. In my head I had that after the divorce Jeno was alone with Macy at his apartment. But Macy just needed her mom and Jeno knew that being a single dad was going to be hard for him. So his mental health was getting worse and he wasn’t sleeping at all. Friends and family around him started noticing that it affected Macy too, so his parents were the first to reach out and take Macy in until Jeno had enough rest. But with Macy gone, Jeno was alone and he started seeking comfort in other things. Like other women and drinking a lot. He was mostly looking for distraction. His friends reached out to him more cause Jeno cut off most contact with everyone. His friends talked with him a lot, and told him to go back to Macy. And Jeno did, once he saw Macy again, he realised how much he enjoyed having her around and how she needed him as much as he needed her. Since then he started building his life again, with Macy by his side.
I love Good Game so much! Thanks for writing wish fics coz the lack of wish fics in thus app make me cry. I'm also interested in reading your other works. Stay wishful (*˘︶˘*).｡*♡
