New Son of America chapter should be up before the end of the week

@Lindsey4712 Death threats? That's ridiculous. My example is that when Daniel Craig was chosen to play Bond for Casino Royale, the fans hated him with a passion. They thought it would be awful, but now Casino Royale (and Daniel Craig's run as James Bond) is considered to be the best of all 23 movies. So who knows, Ben Affleck could knock it out of the park. He's a great actor, and he knows his way around movies (he did direct and star in Argo, after all). So as a community can we just be happy that we see Batman's legacy continued on screen by another talented actor?

I gave it a lot of thought and...I think Ben Affleck is a good choice. A lot better than some choices (we're looking at you Ryan Gosling...). Some people say Daredevil wa awful but come on, it wasn't that bad. And if it had flaws, it was the directing and the script, not Ben. He was a good Daredevil at least. So I'll reserve my judgement until July 17th, but as of now, I'm still excited for the news.

@NoPainNoGain I was reading an article on CinemaBlend (I think it was either that site or ScreenRant), but they were discussing the elements of Inception and the interpretation that I like the most was that its an homage to film noir. Its filled with homages and references, like the femme fatale (Mal), or the idea of water attributed to death (in Inception's case, death would be the kick from the dream, which they used water for several times), or my personal favorite, the anti-hero (Cob is a hero but yet he uses illegal means). Its just such a hard movie to describe through one way of viewing it. And YES. I get angry when people criticize them. I can understand that its they're opinion, but I'm still angry by the fact that they consider it flawed. I really can't wait for TASM 2 because the first one is one of my favorite versions of Spider-Man because they make him flawed. He's not invincible. That's a reason I love Man of Steel also, because they make a point to show that Superman is just as human as he is Kryptonian.

I think Christopher Nolan is my favorite director, right alongside Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg. He's not one of those flashy action directors who just fills the movie with explosions and repetitive action scenes (Michael Bay, I'm looking at you), but he actually makes you think with his films. He purposely gives them open-endings because he wants you to leave the theater with it still fresh in your mind, and that's why I love him.

When Damian was first introduced, I hated him. To me, he was such a little brat and demanding and hot-headed, but over time I grew to love him so much. He's grown to become so much like Bruce in the way he behaves that I can honestly see him taking the mantle one day. I actually really like Jason too, because he has such a great redemption and character arc.

@ManOfTomorrow I agree. Inception is one of the only films (I think) that has so many different meanings and a broad spectrum of interpretations. I'm so passionate about the films I love that that whenever someone says something bad about one of those films, I'm hurt, angry, and become very defensive. Yeah, I agree that The Amazing Spider-Man did a better job at making Peter seem more human. Peter and Gwen's relationship is one of the best. Oh okay. I wonder why the government was barely involved?

:D Screenwriting aside, Christopher Nolan has contributed the most to just about every aspect of my life, shaping me to be the person that I am today. I have yet to see Memento, and I really want to. I love and want to explore basically all the genres, except for maybe comedy. The genres that I enjoy the most are probably psychological thriller and film noir.

Okay :) Hm, I love all the Robins. Each one has a different relationship with Bruce, and that's what I like about them. Specifically though, I think Damian's relationship with Bruce is one that sticks out the most.

@NoPainNoGain Movies are my favorite art form. I love to sketch but honestly no other form of art captures emotion from me like film. There is so much you can accomplish with a movie; so many different meanings that you can pull from it. That's why I love Inception so much; there are so many different ways you can view it. The Dark Knight Trilogy as a whole was a mesh and blend of different genres and incarnations of Batman. That's why it makes me so angry when people say that Nolan's Batman is nothing like the comic book Batman. He's an amalgam of so many of the best of the comics. Sam Raimi's Spider-Man did very well in making him human, which is why I loved the first two, but The Amazing Spider-Man accomplished a lot by showing his struggles and the consequences of him being Spider-Man, like sacrifices in his relationship with Gwen. I honestly think Peter and Gwen's relationship is the best out of any CBM I've ever seen. I love them together. And no, besides the corrupt vice-president (or secretary, I can't remember), the government was barely involved in IM3, which makes no sense. Mandarin threatened the president directly.

I would love to work on a movie with you :D There are so many different inspirations and reasons that I have for wanting to be a director, but Christopher Nolan movies as a whole are a big part of it. My favorite movie of his is a tie between The Dark Knight, Inception, and Memento. Memento is amazing. There are also so many different genres that I want to explore one day, like thrillers and suspense, sci-fi and fantasy, superhero films (of course), and finally...film noir. I don't know why but that is the style of movie that draws me in the most. They're so classic and important to the history of film as a whole that they're hard to ignore. What's your favorite genre, though?

And I'm pretty sure Tim found out at nine. Tim's definitely my favorite Robin because he's the one that reflects Bruce the most to me.
