Hello comrades lol. I am Nick. I'm interested in poetry, writing some short stories sometimes, and have been thinking of getting into song writing.

To me, writing is a form of art that allows us to express ourselves truly. When we aren't afraid to write, we can help understand ourselves and put our minds to ease. It ain't always easy being alive, and in a world of new technology and social media, some of us don't talk about how we feel as much anymore. But with writing, we can find a new way to talk about and express ourselves. I personally have had a problem with opening up to people. I don't talk about myself as much as maybe I should, and I'm working on that, but, I've found help in writing. Poetry has been a form to let myself free and loose and just say what I need to say. Art is the one thing that keeps us and our cultures together, and that is why I have such a high appreciation of art. Art is wonderful, beautiful, and is what keeps some of us going.
