I'm still alive!
          
          I moved to Tumblr & ao3, and am working on moving my old works over there as well. 
          
          I mean... I also moved houses, took a term off college, joined two Big Bangs (fanfic events) at once, and wrote the first fanfic in a fandom!
          
          But eh, nothing that exciting compared to Unhinged Fanfic Writer standards. 
          
          - Oat, who disappeared for 7 months :)

Aahhh I am sad
          
          The song Rocket Ships by Cavetown started playing and it made me think of the ending of "The Trail" by PBnCrofters.
          
          And now I CRY. 

Am I currently in a power outage? Yes.
          Does that stop me from writing? Ha ha, no.

Random Angst Prompt [that I made myself]
          
          Person A is crying because Person B has to die for the rest of the group to be saved. As B is comforting A, they cry as well. They're terrified to die, but will do anything to save their friends (A especially). 
          
          Person B: "Don't cry, I am just a phase." 

I love, how as a fandom (Sanders Sides), we all collectively agreed at some point that Remus has a fear of abandonment and/or abandonment issues. 
          
          Like... Roman AND Virgil have left him, and now all he has is Janus. So he's very scared that he'll end up leaving too. Especially since he recently got somewhat accepted by the light Sides. 
          
          Imagine Janus reassuring Remus he'll actually be back soon and not just leave. Remus needing comfort and hugs when Janus leaves for just a little too long. Remus spying from the shadows and eavesdropping to make sure Janus isn't planning to leave behind his back or anything like that. 
          
          Imagine a panicked Remus and only Janus can calm him down and make him feel better, because of flashbacks from when Roman or Virgil left him. Or he's just really scared and needs Janus. 
          
          Imagine Remus always needing to be near Janus in someway because he has separation anxiety. He may annoy Janus sometimes, but if Janus seems particularly annoyed with him, he'll shut up. It may hurt to be quiet (cause I imagine that he needs to speak all the intrusive thoughts or they'll just stay in Remus' mind and hurt him), but Remus will keep quiet and suffer in silence so Janus doesn't leave him. 
          
          Just... I love Janus and Remus, can you tell?

Headcanon for Remus: when he's feeling very upset, he gets quiet. Like, uncharacteristically quiet. His own thoughts get way too loud sometimes, and that's usually when he needs some physical comfort from someone. That someone is usually Janus.
          
          And if someone had triggered Remus' icky thoughts?
          
          You better believe Janus is on his way to kick some ass. 
          
          He won't leave until Remus is resting or taking a nap to recharge after all that draining emotional turmoil. He'll wait, especially since Remus has a huge fear of abandonment. I mean, everyone seems to keep leaving him, and that terrifies him. He's terrified that Janus will leave him too. Janus has to reassure the darker twin that he isn't going anywhere. 
          
          THEN, and only then, will Janus go beat someone's sorry ass for hurting the Trash Rat. 
          
          Because, while Remus may be a bit weird and inappropriate at times, he also has his own insecurities that he needs reassurance for. And Janus gladly helps him out every time. 
          
          SORRY, I JUST LOVE THE IDEA OF SOFT REMUS NEEDING HUGS TO FEEL BETTER.
