"It's wonderful that very few people know about the Mahabharata and Ramayana, being people of a new and progressive generation need to break out of this vicious cycle." Says my history teacher, while teaching the epics, in the Vedic period.

The heights that woman goes to for insulting Lord Rama are unbelievable. She thinks she's being progressive by insulting Lord Rama. Unfortunately she isn't.

She was questioning Sita's exile( I'm not against questioning, but it should be done in a respectful manner) and even cracked an offensive joke on Rama-Siya. I don't understand this trend of insulting Shri Rama, first it was a classmate and now it's the teacher. Pseudofeminism has it's heights after all!!

She said Bhagwad Geeta speaks only about hindus( much as I was tempted to give her a piece of my mind, I stopped)...

And that leaves our entire class talking lewd about our culture...

ArreyyYaar

@_ParthaSangini_ What the heck?! The students can teach better than her! And who the hell is she to question Narayan himself? What kind of a stupid 'trend' is this? Ram went to so many lengths for Sita, and what right does she have to question that?! Bhagvat Gita is meant for EVERY human, not just Hindus! Religion or not, we all follow those basic laws. Jeez, you should complain

(Sorry but I needed to rant more but my comment exceeded the maximum number of characters)

This is the basic common sense to think that if he loves his wife so much then there must have been something serious and unavoidable that he exiled her! And it isn't like only she was suffering! He too was bearing the same pain as her, even more than her!! So tell her to be respectful and atleast read Ramayan first, then only she's allowed to comment on something!

And I haven't read Bhagwat Geeta but as far as I know, it talks about the Dharma! It teaches us what's right and what's wrong! It gives the glimpse to be a perfect human, if I'm right! And this implies on every human being, not just for Hindus!

I wonder why is she here to teach you? You seems much more intelligent to me than her! If one don't have enough knowledge about something then it's better to shut the mouth, rather than speaking nonsense! I hope she understand this asap and stop insulting our culture!

@_ParthaSangini_ I don't think it's a new thing! Though it hasn't happened with me but I know that insulting Shri Ram has really became a "cool" trend by the pseudo seculars, pseudo feminists and the so called intellectuals! You must have listened that stupid lines from some so called "woke" girls that we don't want a husband like Ram, we want a brother like Ravan! The height of stupidity is clearly visible from this single line only! They targets Shri Ram at a certain point, Sita's exile naa!

Let's give him knowledge!! The dumb wokes totally ignores the sleepless nights he spent in tears in memory of his beloved wife! They ignored his determination to bring Sita maa back! They ignored the fact that he literally walked miles and miles in search of her, and even done the impossible task! The making of the SETU!! Even waged the war with Ravan!!! All just for Sita maa!! The idiots ignored the fact that he was a prince of Ayodhya. He could marry any other princess too! But he chose to fight for his wife, because he truly loved her very much! And Sita maa too waited for Shri Ram and stood courageously before Ravan!
