Good Morning everyone, I know it's been a while since I posted. But I have figured out the problems I notice in my story. First of all, I am not giving up on this story, I love it very much, and it's been a long time since I've cared about and thrown myself into a story, but I will need more time. By the end of February to mid-March, I hope to republish the first few chapters of The Gates Project and go from there. After reading over the few chapters I have and the outline for the rest, I realized that although it would be easy to add a couple of scenes to each needed chapter, that will only be a quick fix, nothing that would stand long term.

The Gates Project is a character-driven story, but the plot is also essential. The project is an urban fantasy with mystery elements(murder, purebloods(vampires), witches, twin souls, and more). Families drama & royal family elements(consorts, rulers, marriage contracts/arranged marriage, deadly family secrets, including secret pregnancy and more), Lost love(the continuation of a centuries-long romance). Putting an extensive cast of known dangerous characters in one location and watching as they fight to obtain The Gates and more. The characters are the most critical part of this story, and besides the few vital facts about my main characters, I have not fully grasped the others. It will take time to fix my character's profiles and get to know them. After all this, I know my story will be stronger for it. I will be back in time.

Good Morning. Unfortunately, there will be a delay in publishing chapter four. During my reread of chapter four and making edits on chapter five, I realized in the first three chapters. I missed scenes that will be vital to the following upcoming few chapters. I know I should go on and continue publishing, but the type of person I am, it won't be easy to continue knowing there's something to fix. At first, I assumed that my perfectionist traits( which I had to force down because I knew the project was not in its final form) and fear were coming out full force, but after some distance from the project, I concluded that I needed to add a few scenes. I won't be deleting entire chapters, and most of what I have will not change, so I hope to be back soon with a new chapter, maybe both of chapters four and five, to make up for the time. Anyway, enjoy the rest of your day or night. Bye!

Good afternoon, a double upload this weekend. Chapter three is the arrival to the story's primary setting, and that scares the hell out of me. The description of places mostly has always been a weak point, so I was very nervous about uploading it. For the past few days, I have been tweaking it repeatedly. At this point, even though it's not perfect at all, I know it's fear that keeps me from uploading it although it's finished. It will take me a week or two to clean up Chapter four. Chapter five and above is going to take a bit of time. So why wait? I did my best, and that's good enough for me. I hope you enjoy the chapter and the rest of your day. Goodbye. Good Evening. Somehow I managed to get the next chapter ready on time. Honestly, from now on, I'm not too sure about the weekly, more like biweekly because, unlike the first few chapters. The upcoming chapters need to be cleaned up more before I publish them. Anyway, I am pleased to announce that I just updated another chapter in " The Gate Project." Good Night!

About a day ago, I published the first chapter of my story, "The Gates Project." I was and am still very nervous about publishing my stories here. Writing has always been a personal endeavor, something I did for myself and was afraid of letting others see. But I am putting my fears on the backburning and trying to be more open and sharing my work in the name of improving.

Of course, I am still afraid, and to be honest, when I hit publish, I am convinced that I almost had a panic attack. I couldn't breathe for like a hold minute or something like that. But somehow, I survive it, which means I will be able to do it again, every week or biweekly, right?
          I freaking hope so!
