I understand that many of us are deeply disappointed by John Stamos's current connection with the U.S. President (gross). While it's often necessary to separate an actor from their character, the way the U.S. is treating and failing its citizens makes it challenging to do so—something I have been grappling with lately. As the author of a story where he’s the main face of the story line, I want to emphasize that the Uncle Jesse depicted in my book would never support an Orange man who actively restricting the rights of his nieces. If this viewpoint bothers you, feel free to stop reading, and I hope you have a good rest of your life. I also encourage you to educate yourself and those around you. And to those who feel hopeless and lost I want you to remember a single voice may seem small, but even the softest of whispers can ignite a chain reaction or cause someone to fall into madness.
