My face is not for showing-

My name not for telling.

My heart is not for taking-

My kindness is not for giving.

My love is not for sharing-

My hate is not for showing.

For my life is not for you to know-

My darkest secrets but my own. 

I am just a whisper in time-

My sandy footprint already vanishing.

My life changes not yours-

Nor anyone elses-

And it never will-

For I am but a whisper in time-

The whisper of a voice-

A voice near done speaking-

And upon that completion of their thoughts-

Their thoughts turned into speech-

I will have left-

This lonely desolate world-

And leave it un- affected. 

For I was just a whisper-

Just a wrinkle-
