I didn't understand why nd people didn't like the idea of ppl writing nd characters unless they were neurodivergent themselves. personally I didn't think it was that serious and as long as it wasn't harmful it's all fine, plus having some representation feels nice

I read a fic where my fave had tourettes and you could tell the author's research was half-ased, I know that wasn't their intention but I felt offended, I DON'T EVEN HAVE TOURETTES
