@amberkbryant  You're very welcome it was an amazing book. Although could you explain it to me i didn't understand the ending when he left but also stayed.

Of course! 
            
            Nolan became like the set of keys Clara stole every night, only it was a more gradual process for him.  So Clara lives in one reality, or dimension.  We live in another.  Nolan started out in our reality, and in the end, he essentially split: Nolan A stayed in our reality and went to Canada.  Nolan B crossed over into Clara’s reality and became just like her.
