i don’t know if anyone told you good morning today. i hope they did, but maybe they didn’t. and maybe it’s noon or it’s nighttime now, but

          - i support lgbtq+ (i’m in it) 
          - black lives fucking matter
          - i’m pro-choice
          - there’s currently a genocide happening in china 
          - no one is illegal on stolen land
          - children shouldn’t be in cages 
          - biden/harris 2020
          - trans people are completely valid
          - fuck “maps” aka pedophiles 
          - disabled people aren’t your fucking pets
          - equality for everyone

Bigotry in harry potter: 
          
          - one of only black characters is named shacklebolt 
          - only asian character is named cho chang and is in the smart house
          - fatphobia (dursleys, umbridge, rita skeeter) 
          - lack of representation 
          - irish kid is always blowing things up and turning drinks to rum 
          - queer baiting (dumbledore, dean and seamus) 
          that’s all i can think of right now but there is so much more 

i absolutely hate jk rowling. i’d love to separate the art from the artist, but i can’t with the amount of bigotry in the books. i will continue to update and write fanfiction but i needed to make my position on this clear. jkr wrote the books and we can’t change that. but don’t let harry potter be anything less than what you want it to be.

So y’all I kinda want to get back into writing and I want to write a full fanfic. It’ll probably be on Harry Potter. What kinda things do you guys want to see? Like certain ships or tropes or anything?
