            "A bitch? Yes, I think so too," Delilah turned her gaze to him, seeking out comfort "You'd do that for me?"

            Delilah smiled, finding his words to put her worries at ease. For now at least "Well, my door is always open for you, old man," 

He pursed his lips together as the flower crown was nestled onto his dark hair. It was a rare occasion to see him without his hoodie hood up over his head, so the sight of his black hair was a new one.  'Is this necessary?' is what Alex thought to himself, but he refrained from saying so. He did notice that the woman seemed to be happy about this, so who was he to spoil her fun?
             "You having fun?" he asked, blinking at her.

            "Ah, don't worry! You look amazing," Delilah placed the pink and white flower crown on his head "There,"

"Yeah, no problem," He smiled sheepishly at the quick hug. "It's good hot chocolate. I've tried it from there before." Desmond then twisted his bodybag around to grab his own purchases out of it, "I got the same croissant as you, but I have soda instead. Coca-Cola's more refreshing than hot drinks, and I need that after the day I've had."

            "Oh, I love them! They're the best," Delilah gave him a quick side hug.  Before she grabbed the paper bag and her drink "Now, I'm normally picky about my hot chocolate but thank you!"

            "Am /I/ okay?" She repeated his question, crossing her arms "I should be asking /you/ that," Delilah looked at him. He looked familiar but she couldn't quite figure out from where exactly "What happened?"

            "Yes, they are! I know a restaurant not too far from here that's only for vegetarians. The staff is so kind and polite too," Delilah messed with the hem of his sleeve, a habit she picked up. As she normally needed something to occupy her hands with "Well, thank you. Most people disagree with me. Chocolate is /okay/. Truthfully, I'm very picky about my food and drinks. It's one of my bad qualities," She lowered her head and rested it on his chest with a sigh "Also, I'd love that. We can share too. If you're comfortable with that, at least,"

                 “Veggie burgers are an option, aren’t they? It might not be the best solution, but it’s something to consider. I’ve never tried dipping my fries in a milkshake before, despite hearing rave reviews. I suppose it’s worth a try when we go out,” he smiles when she gets close to him, wrapping his arms around her in return. He was getting used to the affection he usually receives from her, it was becoming normal and it was nice.  “Nothing wrong with that, vanilla is a classic flavor… though, I’m more of a chocolate connoisseur myself,” he jokes, resting his chin on top of her head. “I’ll have to get you a peanut butter cup then, how could I possibly resist that offer?”

            "I'd love that! Although, I am vegetarian, so, I'll have to skip the burgers. Oh! You so should try dipping french fries in a milkshake. It's honestly so amazing," She snaked her arm around him, hoping he wouldn't mind. She was a rather affectionate person with anyone but something about him brought it out more in her "I know this is basic but... vanilla. It's just so comforting. Sweet. That or reesse peanut butter cup. Buy me one of those and I'd marry you within a heartbeat," She teased lightly

            "Oh, thank you!" Delilah smiled, hesitating before she grabbed the lanyard "I feel bad though. How much should I pay you back?" She held the item in her hand, tracing the outlines of it nervously "For that long, huh? Pretty impressive. I've never actually met a guitarist before. Do you do covers or just originals?"

            Roger snickered at her attempts at keeping cool, and it only made his heart grow fonder. "Ah, I see. Been playing guitar since I was 17, but I didn't start my band until like 7 years ago. Math is weird I know." Then he paused. "If you need me to buy em, all you gotta do is ask. Matter of fact," Roger reached into his pocket, grabbing a lanyard. "Took the last one, there's only like 10. Mostly just music snobs snag these up. Here, take it." He gave a gentle smile.

            "I mean, I can try! Depends on how much the tickets are," Delilah felt flustered by his words, even if he was just teasing her. She looked away, resting her chin on her knees "So, uh... how long have you been into music?" She asked awkwardly. Now trying her best to seem cool or at least interesting

            As he slept, Delilah watched him for a while. Trying to tell if he was still in pain or not. When she thought he was lost in a deep sleep, she quietly stood up, her goal was now to make an amazing meal for him. Or well, attempt to 

   *     IT  TOOK   about  ten  minutes.  the  viltrumite  had  dozed  off  very  quietly,   expression  one  of  pain  and  exhaustion  even  in  his  sleep.   but  resting  at  least  offered  him  a  break  from  pains.   *
