As a kid, did any of you just think, "Wow. Adults are so tall & depressing, I'm glad I'm never growing up!"
Then, you realize you're gonna grow up.
Like ACTUALLY realize that as all kids vaguely think, 'yea, I'm gonna grow up', but this time it really dawns on you & it hits you harder than Rapunzels frying pan.
Finally, you're in your teens. You get an existential crisis where you think, "the world is scary. THE HELLS NAH, I DON'T WANNA GROW UP. "
Life feels bleak. You're asking yourself: Where the hell did that happy kid go man? I don't know what I wanna do half of the time, I can barely take care of myself.... I want to be happy.
The reality is that we're all lost & worried.
Most of the time we're rude, yet we call it being sarcastic.
Many times out jokes are disrespectful, even if we don't mean it.
Our way of not getting hurt is by putting up walls of indifference, not permitting people who actually care to enter inyo our lives.
We call talking to others about our problems & seeking help "burdening others".
Ants leave behind the sick & injured because logically they'll only burden them. Yet, there's these strange creatures that will take care of the weary & support them. We call them humans.
Tony Stark said "I came to realise that I have more to offer this world than making things blow up."
We cause destruction in many, tiny ways.
But we have the power to choose what attitude we're gonna face life with. We can have trauma & drama around us, but no one is forcing us to give up on ourselves & life.
It's ok to not be fine, but in this life, no one is allowed to give up.
Life is pretty freaking scary.
But we're not alone.
