Thinking about the wives...
about to spout some worldbuilding nonsense on you rn even though a full story will never come to fruition because idk if raspberry would be good with that and Soleil is her character lmao.
So like. Fae all have their own villages, each one is its tight knit little group. They're kinda secluded from the rest of the like mythical creatures or whatever in their world. They have the ability to travel to the human world through things liek mushroom rings. The first time a fae is summoned by a human through one and they manage to steal the name, that is their name, which in my mind would be their kind of moment of growing up and becoming like a young adult and becoming like relevant in the society. So Oisin is naturally a masculine name I think, so I figured she took it from some dude when she first took a name. Every time I talk about these folk they seem like real bad guys b it they are mischievous at heart and tricky people. They do have lots of festivals and things where they just party and dance and stuff. They are chill with same sex marriage but not with like vampires or whatever, which is why it was so frowned upon when Oisin fell for Soleil.
Also, fae typically choose a mate for life, so when she fell for Soleil it was for good. Her parents had started to set her up with another fae from like down the street or something lmao and that faerie got really mad when she brought Soleil home. A new plot point we had thought of before things were broken off were that the fae she was supposed to marry got some others to like get Oisin and they took her wing and it was all edgy and stuff.
Anyways. They're so in love I love them so much they will always be in love in my heart they will always live on
