Well... I never thought I'd be writing something like this, but here I am. I'm leaving wattpad not actually leaving Wattpad completely, but I am stepping away from the author side of this beautiful community.
Last year, I started writing stories that were so close to my heart. My first book, Meant To Be Yours, wasn't just a story it was a dream. A dream of becoming a successful author, of creating something meaningful. And honestly, writing gave me a kind of comfort I never even knew I needed.
Through this journey, I found something even more precious you all. My fellow authors, my readers... my people. The bond I've built with you means so much to me, especially during a time when I truly needed it.
But as we all know, time changes things. And right now, even though I still have ideas, plots, and endless imagination... I just don't have the energy to bring them to life. And I don't want to keep you waiting, stuck with me, hoping for updates I'm unable to give.
I don't know if I'll ever come back to writing... but if I do, I promise I'll return with so much more to give.
I'm not deleting my account or my book, because they hold a piece of my heart and maybe yours too. So whenever you want, you can come back and read MTBY... maybe I will too someday.
And with that... I'm signing off.
I just want you to know, I truly, genuinely love you all so much. Thank you for being a part of my journey.
