Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, dear souls
I may have missed the beginning of Muharram…
But these sacred days have been heavy on my heart — not in burden, but in reflection. And today, I thought of sending you
May Allah ﷻ bless you with the wisdom and calm dignity of Ameer al-Mu’mineen Ali ibn Abi Talib
The pure haya and light of Sayyidah Fatima az-Zahra
The patience and forbearance of Imam Hassan
The steadfast courage and sacrifice of Imam Hussain ibn Ali
The unmatched loyalty and bravery of Al-Abbas ibn Ali
The strength, eloquence, and sabr of Sayyidah Zainab bint Ali
And the tender, trusting heart of Bibi Sakina bint Hussain
who taught us how deep the love of a daughter can be, even in the face of grief.
May Allah allow your soul to taste peace in its purest form.
May He forgive what burdens you, heal what hurts you, and guide what confuses you.
May these days of Muharram be a gentle doorway to closeness with Him —
A time to remember, reflect, and return.
May this year be one of light, clarity, and sincerity.
Ameen
