          I want to warn fellow authors about a scam account that is currently sending misleading messages. I recently received a message claiming that my Wattpad account would be deleted within 48 hours unless I clicked a link and completed a "verification" process.
          
          The message looked urgent and was designed to create panic, but after checking the account and investigating further, I discovered that it appears to be a scam.
          Please remember:
          
           Do not click suspicious links sent through private messages.
          
          Wattpad will not usually ask you to verify your account through random messages from other users.
          
          Always check whether messages come from official Wattpad channels.
          
          If a message threatens account deletion or demands immediate action, be extra cautious.
          
          Report suspicious accounts and messages to Wattpad Support.
          
          Scammers often rely on fear and urgency to trick users into giving away personal information or account access. Stay alert and help protect our writing community.
          
          The account which tried to scam me is - @thecreeddark and @bentulga .
          
          
          Please share this warning with other authors so they can avoid falling for similar scams.
