Vincent is an absolute sweetheart to everybody in Derry, Maine. - he wasn't always kind thought. Vincent was a formal bully. But after a huge fight, he realized he what he was doing was totally wrong and changed. He volunteered to show new kids around the school, and hang out with them, thus meeting his best friend Jacob Peters. 

He has a huge fear of abandonment due to what happened when he was little- Vincent is an orphan. He has adoptive parents, but hates their guts. Vincent meets the Losers Club when he accidentally runs into Richie, getting a "Watch where you're going, asshole!"
