i keep trying to post this in my comments but it won't work..weird! No clue what he was thinking! I guess to him, it made sense. He could have bought any house. But it was weird to her... I've got a 1984 rolling stone interview w Chris where she said, "It maybe *was* a little odd that he and his new wife bought my old house from me. And actually held their wedding in my old house. That was a little strange." I mean, can you imagine?? It all supports what I've heard from a couple of sources that "he could not let her go." And he had a good deal of leeway in his 2nd marriage, too... often with these people, truth is stranger than fiction!
