Just another quick PSA-
If you're gonna "criticize" a FANFICTION, make it valid. Make it a fleshed out proper critique like: "I feel like ___ should/doesn't ____ because ____"
And be respectful about it in the process.
Saying something like: "___ is useless" or "This is stupid" or "I'm so sick of ___"
Is not proper criticism and if you make comments like that, you cannot go crying "Take criticism" "you can't take criticism" because that's not how criticism works.
First of all, it's fanfiction, a work of writing that isn't perfect, most of the time made out of boredom or just for fun and simply not something that is serious enough for criticism. You may give advice/some options to help the writer improve their writing, but critiquing something that goes on in a fanfic is just unnecessary. You do not need to criticize everything you do not like as if it's a novel.
Second, if you're gonna cry "It's criticism" when someone obviously does not appreciate your comment when you left a rude sounding comment, them please, learn how to give proper criticism.
Saying things like the examples I gave, is not criticism, that just your opinion that you voice in a rude manner, which you didn't even need to voice in the first place most of the time if we are being honest.
And I'll give a quick warning-
There's been some things going on in my personal life that's made me grow a strong "I'm done taking shit" attitude, so if you leave a comment that sounds rude, I might reply and people might not like how I reply. I will say that I never intend for my replies to be mean, but I will be honest, and sometime my honesty sounds mean.
But if you leave a comment that sounds insulting-ish to my work, I will defend my work. If you give proper criticism/advice, I'll listen. But if it sounds rude, I'm gonna say you sound rude (I'll probably say "then stop reading" too) and it's up to you to acknowledge that you sound rude or not.
