there was sadness in her eyes
                            lost hope in her goodbyes
                                              sorrow in her lies
                              scars filling up her thighs
        the truth leaking out of her disguise
                          yet she always replied with
                                                             "i'm fine" 
                                 but everyone could see,
                                       she was dying inside
