I realize I’ve been tossing out crumbs of this story for months now, and I want to apologize. A chapter every two months isn’t exactly fair, I know.
          The truth is, the story was supposed to end ten chapters ago. I didn’t want to leave any loose ends, so I kept going, but along the way, I ended up creating even more. I do know how it ends. I’ve already written the new ending. I just need to get us there. So please, bear with me.
