I've been thinking about it a lot recently I'm kind of feeling like I should just delete my account. I hope this doesn't seem like a cry for attention or something like that, but I don't want to just disappear without saying anything since there are actually people who read, vote, comment and enjoy my stories (surprisingly enough, lol) The thing is, I just don't feel comfortable being on here anymore. This summer, my Instagram acc was hacked and I used a website on someone's recommendation to see if any of my passwords had been breached and through wattpad , in actually closer to the first half of this year, my password had been acquired. I deleted that account SOO fast after making sure everything was secured. I had paranoia for ages after it even. Not only that, but just out of curiosity I searched up some of my books and I found them on not one but two glitchy, virusy looking foreign websites. Ouch. I'm not safe here, my books aren't safe here and I'm honestly sick of it. But I'm not sure where else to go.. Any recommendations? Also I'd like to talk about being logged out of accounts? Are alt accounts not allowed? It's happened to me like 3 times now I just wanted to have a clear distinction between the types of books I'd be putting on each acc but a link between them as the same person

@Anony10298 Yeah I always associated wattpad with a very friendly atmosphere ( ˊᵕˋ ) I've been pretty conflicted about leaving my account up but maybe that fact that I'm thinking so hard about it is a sign that I should just leave it Thanks so much for the suggestions ♡ I've never heard of Fanfictalk so I'll definitely check it out. I don't actually know that many credible writing apps and sites so every recommendation is precious (^ヮ^)~ I thought Archive was safe but I think I actually have seen clone websites with ff .net books on them. U know your stuff!

@Nefelibata_Soko I suppose you have went through your ups and downs here, but I think the glitchy sites copy paste from other sites too (like ff.net) It would be nice if you kept your account (so that if you ever feel like coming back, your nest will be just as you left it, but with a 100 or so notifications). It would be easier to put your story on reading list and stuff for readers. But if you are set on moving out, then Fanfictalk would be a good choice! You have to be at least 16 year old, though. There are even admins there who look after the whole site-- Archive and Forums-- and the people there are super friendly!
