So yes, we’re doing this. Editing TRAPPED chapter by chapter. I just want to reassure everyone: you won’t have to wait between in-between chapters. Since I’m only re-editing, not re-writing, it won’t take me as long to publish the chapters. You should get 1 or 2 « new » chapters everyday.
I apologize if some of you are disappointed, I know you were waiting for me to finish the book. But as I was re-reading the book myself, I just couldn’t deal with my old chapters.
I know I can do a lot better now, so I’d rather give everyone an actually fully well-written book rather than half a well-written book.
Don’t worry though; as I’ve said before neither the characters nor the storyline will change. Only the way it’s written, and I promise you it will be better.

@haimajk And finally I just want to point out that I didn’t have “time of silence” I was hospitalized because of my health, and busy with college. I know some writers can juggle both at the same time, but I couldn’t, hence the disappearing. It was never in my plans to stop writing or leave my books unfinished. I never lost interest in BTS either. After all my wondering and thinking about wether or not I should keep writing, archive my books, start something new, edit it, take a longer break etc, the whole Wattpad bug thing kinda showed me what I really wanted. Now that I know that trapped is safe and hasn’t been deleted from my drafts, I’d rather re-edit it before I publish it again. I want people to read 2024 Liam writing, not 2021 Liam writing. I hope this makes sense and I’m sorry if you felt disappointed with my choice. Thank you for reading anyway (:

@haimajk That’s fair and I completely understand if some readers have lost interest or forgot about the book. But I’ve been honest with you guys since I came back. At the end of the last chapter I published I said there would be a good chance TRAPPED would be archived and re-published. I started writing TRAPPED in 2021 for fun, not really thinking much of it. And then I got better and more serious about writing. Now we’re three years later and it’s impossible for me to look back at the first chapters without cringing or wincing at the grammar mistakes, bad wordings or weird sentences, and even plot holes since I started writing without a plan in the very beginning. When I compare it to the chapters I write now, it just doesn’t feel right. The readers who read while I was active saw my growth and I’m really grateful for everyone who gave time to TRAPPED, but now that I’m capable of it, I want to offer an even better version of the book to future readers. And yes, it’s also a way to kickstart the book again. I didn’t hide that either, I said it in the chapter I published when I came back. It also allows me more time to write the chapters I haven’t written yet, and avoid leaving everyone hanging in case I disappear again.

@_guccichim I really like the book, but I think you are doing all this in order to get as many votes and popularity as possible again. I don't know if it's fair that you're asking for it after so much time of silence. I've been waiting for the sequel for more than a year and I honestly forgot what book was about, but I won't and I don't want to read it again. But good luck!
