I write from a version of my own reality - not always the facts, but the feelings: misplaced guilt, complicated loyalty, and love that can both protect and destroy. I'm drawn to characters who are gentle until they become dangerous, and to survivors who reach the other side altered by what it cost them. My stories ask what survival demands, because getting through is never the same as coming out untouched.
