          i’m sorry T-T
          i know it’s been so long since my last update, but i promise im trying to write it!! i’ve just started rewriting it for the fifth time, if that’s any consolation aha
          BUT in the meantime, i figured we could do something fun as a holiday present!! i’ve decided to share some cut storylines with you guys, to try and help me find the spirit of writing (this story specifically)! 
          due to writing over 50chapters over the past 12months, i’ve ended writing A LOT for carpe down! MOST of which, you guys haven’t seen due to editing cuts! sooooo, i’ve decided that you guys can comment any character under this thread, and i’ll reply with a storyline that i drafted for that character! because there’s definitely at least one plot line that got cut for the sake of pacing/mood! some can be funny or heavy tho!
          
          i can start this off with our main character: sadie!!
          (TRIGGER WARNING) one storyline i had to cut from our mc is that she was actually supposed to have an ED. this was heavily hinted at in the beginning chapters, and was supposed to be introduced in chapter 18&19! this explains why sadie’s frame is smaller than the other girls, her insecurities about her image, as well as her strong preference for baggy clothes. this was going to play into her relationship with joseph and his development!
          i really wanted to write this storyline for sadie, because i think a topic like that was so important, but i actually triggered myself lmao, it hit a little too close to home unfortunately, so i had to scrap it. and honestly, not only was i not ready to write it, but i don’t think the story was ready for it either—with how lighthearted that part of the book is, the effect of having such a storyline just didn’t work very well. now that’s it’s been some time, i think i would like to tackle this storyline in another book with another character, but we’ll see!

My doctor wants me to read a carpe diem chapter every week but unfortunately there is no new chapter, I feel bad for not taking my meds

it’s so so so crazy thinking about how many of you guys are reading carpe diem
          i remember starting off the year writing this story for fun, thinking about how grateful i was for the eight consistent readers i had at the time. every single comment was the highlight of my day (they still are lowkey haha) and i’d freak out every update because i just couldn’t wait to see the responses to it.
          now, i still get pumped with every update because of you guys, but there’s just so much love with every one.
          you guys are probably used to hearing it, but i really am so grateful that you guys do like this story despite its imperfections. i can’t respond to every single comment like i used to, but i do read them and i cherish every single one. you guys have really helped me have more confidence and excitement in my writing and give me so much motivation. thank you all so much for the support and comments :)

hey yall i’m trying really hard to get this chapter out asap, this is just a really important arc to me—one of the last big ones—that i’ve been picturing since the very beginning, so i’m trying to get it as perfect as possible to keep the integrity of the story’s purpose! sorry this is taking much longer than i thought, but i really hope it’ll be worth it for you guys :)
