bojack horseman is currently my favourite show on Netflix, and it is literally so good. I love the themes and how they tackle things.
And also I was watching one of my favourite YouTube, Drew Gooden, and he said that bojack horseman was the best show on Netflix, to him.
but seriously I highly recommend it.
Like, the art style is not everybody's thing, and some of the comedy can be weird. But the show really resonates with me, and genuinely helped me get a better perspective of things.
Here are some themes the show tackles fantastically:
-fame and how it affects people
-homosexuality in a time where that wasn't allowed
-the cycle of generational trauma
-non-generational trauma
-drug abuse
-child abuse
-suicide
like it's a great show and I highly recommend it (though for the record, there are a couple of sex jokes and even a few short scenes. Especially in the first few episodes where the writers are still trying to figure out the show, but it doesn't happen too much)
