          I honestly can’t believe it took me a whole month to return—thank you so much for being patient, and I’m really sorry for the long wait!
          
          My midterms finally ended, but it wasn’t exactly a full month—it’s just that my exam schedule kept changing constantly. On top of that, I had a ton of presentations, oral recitations, and other deadlines that made it really hard to find time or energy to write. 
          
          Honestly, October was pure hell. I had several mental breakdowns and struggled with depression for a while because of my grades and scores, and that really affected my motivation and mental health.
          
          But the good news is… I’m finally okay now! Mentally and emotionally, I feel ready to write again, and I’ve missed this so much. I cannot wait to continue this story and share it with all of you. 
          
          I want you to know how much I truly appreciate every single one of you for sticking around. Your comments, votes, and messages have meant the world to me. Even when I couldn’t update, knowing that you’re still here waiting for me gave me so much encouragement. I’ve missed you all more than words can express, and it feels so good to finally write again.
          
          I promise to do my absolute best to catch up and keep the story going, and I can’t wait for you to see the next chapter. Thank you again for your patience, support, and love—it honestly keeps me going even on my toughest days!

          Just a short chapter from me this time! I’m really sorry, but I won’t be able to update again for the next 2 weeks (maybe even up to a month) since it’s officially midterm season. Once that’s over, I think I’ll finally have more freedom and energy to focus on writing again.
          
          Thank you so, so much for your endless patience and support, it honestly means the world to me. I’ll do my very best to work on drafts whenever I can so that I won’t keep you waiting too long :p

Hey lovies! 
          
          I’m really sorry to say that I won’t be updating for a little while again because it’s officially hell week (more like hell month) for me. I hate keeping you all waiting, especially since I really want to finish this book soon so you won’t have to wait so long between chapters. Part of me is scared that if I take too long, I might lose the momentum I’ve been building with these ongoing chapters but with my current schedule, it’s been so hard to find free time to rest and write properly :((
          
          Hopefully by next week I’ll be able to post a new chapter!
          
          On the brighter side, my book has been gaining more reads lately, and I’ve been getting notifications of people adding it to their libraries. Every single one of those truly melts my heart !! <3
          
          That’s also why I really want to push through and finish this book because I don’t want to lose my precious readers. I promise I’ll try my very best, even if it takes me a little longer.

To those who might be wondering about Diluc and Childe’s relationship in my fic—honestly, I don’t really ship them HAHAHA I’m actually a ZhongChi shipper (Zhongli × Childe) at heart. 
          
          Please don’t hate me for it! I know I’ve heard that some of the newer gens in the fandom have been hating on ZhongChi lately. But personally, I’ve always felt like Zhongli fits the role of a professor so perfectly, and Childe really gives off strong university student vibes. That’s why, in this fic’s storyline, I wasn’t able to pair them together as a couple, even though I adore the ship.
          
          As for Diluc and Childe, their relationship here was actually based on the TikTok AU that originally inspired my fic. In that AU, they were already paired together, so I decided to bring that idea into my writing as well. Honestly, they look really cute together in the AU, and I felt it would be fun to include their pairing throughout my story.
          
          Just to let everyone know, I won’t be including Natlan characters in this fic. I’m really sorry if anyone was hoping to see them! It’s just that it’s been quite a few years since I last played Genshin. The last region I experienced in the game was Sumeru, so I’m not very familiar with the newer nations and characters.
          
          On another note, I’ve been a big fan of several ships for a long time, such as:
          
          KazuScara (Kazuha × Scaramouche)
          Xiaoather (Xiao × Aether)
          Cynari (Cyno × Tighnari)
          Thomato (Thoma × Ayato)
          IttoRou (Itto × Gorou)
          KaeBedo (Kaeya × Albedo)
          
          So expect some progress in Itto and Kaeya’s love lives as the story goes on!

          I just updated! While doing that, I went back and reread some of the earlier chapters and oh my gosh, I cringed so hard. Some parts were awkward, the flow wasn’t perfect, and the grammar felt overwhelming in a few spots. I did manage to edit a few sections here and there, but honestly, looking at my current chapters, I think I’ve improved quite a bit? I hope so! 
          
          Either way, I don’t plan on editing the story again once it’s finished—I’m probably just going to leave it as it is.
          
          My sister, however, has been encouraging me to edit it again. She pointed out that while the story is really enjoyable for first-time readers, people who want to reread it might find some of the earlier chapters overwhelming, especially with how heavily descriptive or dramatic I got in the beginning. I totally get what she means, and I see her point—but going back through all of that would be such a huge task, and honestly, I’m not sure I have the energy to do a full re-edit right now :))
          
          So, I’d love to hear from you! 
          
          What do you all think? Would you want me to edit the earlier chapters for a smoother reread, or are you okay reading them as they are?

          Just a quick update for everyone who’s been reading Where the Sakura Blooms
          
          I wanted to let you all know that I’ll be changing the title and description of the story soon! I haven’t updated them yet, but it’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while now. When I first started writing this story, the plot was more closely tied to the image of the sakura, and the title felt perfect. But as the story developed and evolved over time, it naturally drifted in a new direction, one that doesn’t quite align with the original name and description anymore.
          
          That said—don’t worry! The story itself won’t change. I’m just updating the title and description to better match where the story has grown and what it’s truly become.

          FINALLY, I’m able to update after what feels like forever! I want to start off by saying a huge, heartfelt I’m sorry for the long wait. Life really piled up on me recently, but I missed you all so much, and I’m beyond happy to be back! it feels so good to be writing again!
          
          Summer class is officially over and we’ve been given a one-week break before the next term starts, just a tiny sigh of relief before the academic grind begins again 
          
          For this chapter, I was actually aiming for a 20,000-word update, but halfway through writing my brain sort of fizzled out.The ideas were running dry, my fingers were typing nonsense, and I realized it’s better to deliver something heartfelt and solid than to stretch it thin just for the sake of length. So! I decided to stop where it felt right and I’m saving all the juicy bits for the next update, which I’m already excited to write. Please look forward to it~
          
          That being said, I also want to give you a little heads-up. I probably won’t be able to update again right away because my birthday’s coming up soon!! And to celebrate, my family and I will be going on a short trip out of town. I’m really looking forward to it (even if I’m also slightly in denial about getting older) So updates will be on pause for a bit.
          
          But don’t worry! Once I’m back, I’ll be jumping straight back into writing and continuing with my regular update schedule. There’s still so much I want to share with you, and I can’t wait for you to see where the story goes next
